A MESSAGE FROM ZACH

December 20, 2016

Hello! Welcome to the HGM website designed by yours truly.

First off, I'd like to tell you a little bit about myself. I was first introduced to graphic design back in high school. I, very quickly, fell in love with it. I was fascinated by the endless possibilities in Adobe Photoshop and found that I had a natural eye for what looked good. So, even though in the winter of 2014 my high school class had ended, my passion had only just begun. Lacking the funds needed to get the actual software, I pursued digital art and graphic design further by downloading a $10 iPad Photoshop app. I kept playing with it, experimenting, and allowing my mind to explore and transform what was on the screen in front of me. I created several collage posters, logos, and digital artworks. Finally, in the summer of 2014, I had saved up enough money to purchase Photoshop for Mac, and my skills began to take off. I spent hours on my laptop. I was hungry for new tutorials, tactics, and artwork. If school prevented me from working on Photoshop, I craved it.

From that point on I knew I wanted to be a part of the creative world of advertising. The idea that you can tell a story in just 30 seconds, or even in just a photo, is truly fascinating. I wanted to be a part of that creation. Through the years spent in college, my time creating posters and digital art has diminished, but my drive is stronger than ever. I don't spend as much time doing those things because my skills have been given more variety, thanks to school, online tutorials, and my internship last spring (special shoutout to Cowley Associates), so my creativity is expressed in very different ways. Today, as the Creative Director at HGM, it's expressed through helping our clients send the message they want to send, helping them show their audiences what they're here for, and, ultimately, helping them thrive.

My hunger hasn't gone anywhere. It has adapted and evolved to force me to solve new problems. I am anxious to see what our next clients will bring to the table because I am ready for the feast to feed my creative cravings. To all of you out there in need of a marketing boost, I am more than ready to Ignite Your Brand.

Sincerely,

Zach Leader
